Back pain is one in all humanity's most frequent complaints. In the U.S., acute low back pain (additionally referred to as lumbago) is the fifth most typical reason for doctor visits. About 9 out of ten adults experience back pain in some unspecified time in the future of their life, and 5 out of ten working adults have back pain yearly .

The spine is a fancy interconnecting community of nerves, joints, muscles, tendons and ligaments, and all are capable of producing pain. Large nerves that originate in the spine and go to the legs and arms can make pain radiate to the extremities.
